I was invited by book contributor Tommy Waller to attend a Salute to Christian Zionist Volunteers held at Israel’s Knesset in Jerusalem. It was a moving event that included more than a dozen different speakers, including several members of Israel’s Knesset.
It was a particular thrill for me that, in addition to Tommy Waller, so many other contributors to Ten From The Nations were at the event, including Sondra Baras, Dean Bye, Jair Jehuda, Donna Jollay, Valerie Parham, Rabbi Aaron Poston, Kimberly Rogers-Brown, the parents of Elana Watson, Rabbi Tuly Weisz, Sue Wyatt and Dina Yehuda.
For me, the highlight was a 3-minute comment by Jan Willem van der Hoeven who was one of the first leaders of the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem (ICEJ) and is now the Director of the International Christian Zionist Center in Jerusalem. He begins his emotional 3-minute speech at the 28:40 mark about the prophecy that gave Ten From The Nations its title.
